Aksys Games and Spike Chunsoft have announced today through the PlayStation Blog that Zero Escape: The Nonary Games will be releasing on PS4 and Vita next year in the Spring of 2017.
The Nonary Games is a compilation featuring Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors (999) and Virtue’s Last Reward, the first two games in the Zero Escape series. And as an incentive for both newcomers and fans alike, the original 999 is being built from the ground up to accommodate HD graphics and English and Japanese voice acting alike.
While the newest entry in the series (Zero Time Dilemma) will not be included, it’s important to note that it was developed by Chime and not Spike Chunsoft, so maybe we’ll see a port of that at a later date.
Zero Escape: The Nonary Games is set for a Spring 2017 release on PS4 and Vita, but if you’re interested in playing them now, both are available on the Nintendo 3DS (released in 2010 and 2012, respectively.) You can check out our review for Zero Time Dilemma to gleam a bit of our feelings on the previous installments of the series if you’d like, as well.
