Pre-orders for the game will nab you a 10% discount, even on PC, where it will be available via Steam, GOG, and Humble. If you own the original Shadow Warrior and / or Hard Reset Redux you’ll get a further 10% off the game.

Devolver also showcased roughly 12 minutes of gameplay for the game, which you can view below:

Expect our hands-on preview of the game forthcoming. The game will get a PlayStation 4 and Xbox One release sometime after its PC release.

The slicing and dicing and ripping and tearing are of course neat (though I’m starting to question the chainsaw a bit) but the gunplay seem to still look as underwhelming as the first game.

I’m really looking forward to this game The original was great and this one seems like an improvement. Hopefully the console release will soon follow.

Not a fan of the looter shooter direction they went, but still looking better than 90% of other shooters out there.

After finding out the devs are socjus I regretted redeeming my bundle key of the first. If you thought the humor and writing were lacking in great quantities it seems there’s a reason for that.

A link to an interview archive where they said they pulled all the racial and sexist humor out because they found it unfunny/offensive.
