So what is this, Saints Fortress 2? Why the hell does it have the saints row logo if it’s a new game anyways, is it a saints row game or not?

So glad to hear it’s not an MMO.

I like the look of the game and the fact that it is exclusively single player.

I’ve heard that it’s based in the same universe as the Saints Row games.

It’s a Saint’s Row game, but takes place after the Gat Out Of Hell ending where the universe is retconned.

So they had fairly complete gameplay and still decided to go with a no gameplay trailer?

    Sigh.

Looks decent, especially if the zooming in to aim thing is as uneeded as it was in Saints Row when you used a mouse. Otherwise it clearly slows the game down too much

Lack of co-op is a bit of a bummer. The premise seems perfect for that.

The way they described it in the interview is that instead of switching weapons, you are switching characters, which is an interesting idea.

It’s in the same universe think of it as an alternate timeline.

Eh, not for me, but I like Volition so I hope they find success with it.

Meh. Wake me up when they finally decide to put Geomod in a new game. Red Faction 3 is still the highwater mark for environmental destruction 7 years later.

This looks reaaaaallly interesting… but I hope it doesn’t succumb to “It’s not SR” syndrome. I know there is still a lot of love for the Red Faction franchise, but besides that one… SR is about all they had left that people really know them for. It’s a great gamble to go on a new IP with a new gameplay style, but I’m terrified this will drop Volition off the map if the audience doesn’t pick up on it. They make fun games, so my outlook is high for my personal enjoyment of this at least.

This looks like my kind of TPS jam.

I dunno, nothing about this grabs my attention, so far just seems like a combat game. I played previous Saints Row games for the story and fun stuff you do within the game world, so far all you do here is run around shooting things and the writing in the first trailer wasn’t good.
