The massively ambitious sci-fi sandbox No Man’s Sky might not make its planned June 21st release date, according to a new rumor from tabloid Kotaku.
The source, a GameStop employee who obtained new marketing materials for the game, sent in a picture showing an odd sticker covering up where its release date was originally.
The sticker was put there deliberately after GameStop corporate said the release date was no longer accurate, hence the need for a “Coming Soon” label to avoid confusion.
The actual message from upper management read: “The release date for No Man’s Sky has changed since the provided posters were printed. Please use a coming soon pop-on to cover up the date and communicate as needed your guest about the change of release.”
Whenever No Man’s Sky finally does release, it will be available for both PC and PlayStation 4.
