While Obsidian’s latest RPG turned out to be a completely new IP that puts you in control of evil, we’ve learned (via RPGCodex) that perhaps that White Wolf-CCP Games resurrection of Vampire: The Masquerade isn’t off the table.

The news comes from a new ‘Vampire Bloodlines’ trademark which got filed back on April 26th of this year, by White Wolf Publishing AB.

This means the company is either: securing the name, or possibly working on an entirely new game in the series with CCP, considering the Icelandic company is now their owner.

It’s worth mentioning that back in October, a ‘Vampire: the Masquerade’ trademark was filed as well, leading us to believe a proper vampire RPG is hopefully on its way.
