Square Enix has officially titled Tokyo RPG Factory’s debut release for the west – which we’ve been calling by its Japanese name – Ikenie to Yuki no Setsuna.
The game will be known as I Am Setsuna, and it’s set for a PlayStation 4 and PC release sometime this summer (we previously knew it was getting a worldwide release). The PS Vita version of the game is not being localized.
I Am Setsuna is headed by director Atsushi Hashimoto, with the developer aiming to “capture the narrative depth, impactful storytelling and masterful character development inspired by the golden era of Japanese role-playing games.”
The overlying plan for Tokyo RPG Factory is to rekindle that magic which older Japanese RPGs had – with the developer also saying that “everyone fell in love with the RPGs of yesteryear. Let’s bring them back.”
