• Live-action and Animation Hybrid Sonic the Hedgehog Movie Announced

    Sega Sammy has announced a new Sonic the Hedgehog movie.

    While details are scant, the movie will be produced under Sony Pictures, and is set to be a mix of live-action and animation, news confirmed via an interview with President and CEO of the Sega Sammy Hajime Satomi and The World Folio. It’ll release sometime in 2018.

    Sega noted that with their previous CG animation endeavors and now this new hybrid movie, they’re looking to expand further into the entertainment business.
