Adr1ft is Launching on March 28 for PC and Oculus Rift

Developer Three One Zero has confirmed the release date for their upcoming space station survival game, Adr1ft.

The game will be released on March 28th, for both the Oculus Rift and Steam. While the game is being poised as an Oculus Rift launch title, the headset itself will be shipping on that same day, in 20 countries.

It’s worth reiterating that Adr1ft will be coming to both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One sometime later.

I think you can harbor some real interest on a game where you’re some sort of mechanical engineer in space and you go around messing and fixing complex machinery that’s been exposed to the absolute harshness of it. I always thought some of the coolest parts of games like Dead Space, for instance, were when you got to pretend you were The Computer Guy to your companions and went around “fixing” stuff for them.

That being said, this just looks like a Tacoma preview.

So this is where Adam Orth’s little project is going. I suppose he wouldn’t dare put it on the Xbox after the whole “Deal with it!” fiasco.

What you’re describing is Space Station 13. If they could make a VR off that, they’d be golden.
