Larian Studios have announced that veteran RPG designer Chris Avellone is joining their team as a contributor to Divinity: Original Sin 2.
Avellone was a co-founder of Obsidian Entertainment, while he previously worked at Interplay, where he worked on games like Fallout 2, and Planescape: Torment. Now, he’s working mostly as a freelancer, having left Obsidian Entertainment back in June of this year.
Larian is going to bring Avellone’s prowess to storywriting and game design, which will add more polish to Divinity: Original Sin 2.
Divinity: Original Sin 2 is currently in development for PC, with a few days left in their Kickstarter campaign, which has already been funded in less than a day.
