Rinse and Repeat, a Guy-Candy Shower Simulator, Banned from Twitch

In a recent blog post Robert Yang, creator of the 3D shower simulator Rinse and Repeat, has announced that the game has been banned on Twitch.

Interestingly enough, this is the developer’s second game that’s been banned, the first one being Cobra Club, a game in which you play as a guy taking naked selfies.

The Twitch rule that got the game banned from the streaming service is as follows:

Sexually explicit acts or content: Nudity can’t be a core focus or feature of the game in question and modded nudity is disallowed in its entirety. Occurrences in game are okay, so long as you do not make them a primary focus of your stream and only spend as much time as needed in the area to progress the game’s story.

Three things two point out. First off, Rinse and Repeat’s nudity is censored, having all the NPC’s junk pixelated . Secondly, a similar game, Shower With Your Dad Simulator 2015: Do You Still Shower With Your Dad, is not listed in these banned games, dealing with a very similar topic. And lastly, games like Mass Effect, Grand Theft Auto V and Dragon Age all include include nudity or sexual content and can be argued that it is indeed a feature of those games (romance options, strip clubs etc…)

Those hoping to stream or watch the game being streamed can instead only look at other competitors who have not banned the game from their site. You can find Rinse and Repeat here on itch.io.
