Larian Studios has finally opened up the Divinity: Original Sin II Kickstarter, which first got announced earlier this month.
Featured above, you can view the Kickstarter pitch for the game, which has a $500,000 goal to bring the game to PC. Here are some quick facts for the game:
- Divinity: Original Sin 2 is a single- and multiplayer top-down, party-based role-playing game with pen & paper RPG-like levels of freedom. It features turn-based combat, astrong focus on systematic gameplay and a well-grounded narrative.
- Divinity: Original Sin 2 is the sequel to the critically acclaimed Divinity: Original Sin, winner of over 150 Game of the Year awards and nominations.
- Divinity: Original Sin 2 is currently in development for PC in English. Subtitles will be available in German, French, and Russian. Other platforms and languages may be announced at a later stage, once development is more advanced.
The game opens up replayability and role-playing quite a bit in allowing up to four player cooperative and competitive play. Players will be able to play cooperatively in quests, or focus on screwing each other over in competing questlines.
