New Stella Glow Trailer Showcases Witch Tuning Mechanics

Atlus has released a new trailer for Stella Glow, their upcoming Imageepoch-developed 3DS RPG.

Featured above, the new trailer showcases the game’s “witch tuning” mechanic. The game is focused on five witches based around the world, with four good witches and one evil witch. These individuals are the only people left in the world that can still use magic.

The protagonist, Alto, has the ability to “tune” the witches, a process by which he enters their heart and battles their fears, anxiety, and nightmares that are holding them back. Coming from this, as the game has an ongoing cycle of free time and mission time, you’ll have to choose which witch you want to develop relationships with.

Stella Glow is launching for the Nintendo 3DS this holiday in North America and sometime next spring in Europe.

I kinda want this. The “delving into their souls to unlock songs” reminds me of Ar Tonelico.
