Neverwinter is Coming to Playstation 4

neverwinter 07-09-15-1

We’ve learned (via NeoGAF) that Neverwinter is coming to Playstation 4.

The news comes via Trevor Kidd from Wizards of the Coast, who confirmed the Playstation 4 version in a livestream for the game. The game has been available on PC since 2013, and Xbox One since earlier this year.

As the game is free to play on both PC and Xbox One, PS4 users will be able to play the game for free as well.

A release window isn’t confirmed – but we’ll keep you guys posted.

Not a huge surprise most games travel to both consoles now.

I almost reviewed this, and probably should, still. Played it on both Xbox 1 and PC. Got to around the low 30s, level-wise.

Honestly, I was kind of undecided about it. It’s fun, but tedious. And costly.

I like seeing free to play business models analyzed. Go for it.

They wanted to follow the rules–DND rules of whatever edition–but then couldn’t or didn’t toward beta time. Game spikes pretty nicely in difficulty, least it did in beta, but so hard to dedicate to MMO at this point in my life.
