Arrowhead Game Studios have announced a retail edition for their topdown cooperative shooter, Helldivers.
The retail version is only for the Playstation 4 version of the game, while it has been available on PS4, PS3, and PS Vita. Featured above, a new trailer was also shown off for the game’s new expansion (which you can read more about below).

The new retail edition will be made available at certain retailers in North America on August 18th and in Europe on August 26th. The Playstation 4 retail edition is hilariously called the Helldivers: Super-Earth Ultimate Edition and it comes with:
- Helldivers PS4 Game on Blu-ray
- Helldivers PS3 and PS Vita digital games
- Helldivers Turning Up the Heart and Masters of the Galaxy Expansions
- 11 DLC packs + bonus weapons pack + PS4 Dynamic Theme
Fans that haven’t picked the game up yet will also be able to get the Super-Earth Ultimate Edition across all digital storefronts. Finally, if you already own Helldivers, the “Masters of the Galaxy” expansion (which comes with the Super-Earth Ultimate Edition) was also released today, as a free content update. It comes with:
- New Trophies
- New Bug “Hive Lord” Enemy Master
- New Cyborg “Siege Mech” Enemy Master
- New Illuminate “Great Eye” Enemy Master
