Publisher Degica has brought Enterbrain’s RPG Maker 2003 to Steam. This marks the first time the RPG-building engine has been officially available in English.
Featured above, you can view an overview trailer for the new release. RPG Maker 2003 was the first in the ongoing series of RPG-building engines to allow for a sideview battle system, which can easily make any classic-JRPG fan feel right at home.
While you have to sign a third-party EULA, the engine itself will give you full rights to commercially produce and release in RPG Maker 2003, assuming that you’re using entirely royalty free or your own assets.
You can findRPG Maker 2003 here on Steam, for $19.99.
