This week’s Dengeki PlayStation (via Hachima Kikou) has revealed that Gust is looking to make new Atelier games in the near future.

The news comes from an interview with Keisuke Kikuchi, known for his work on the Atelier series (although he’s now heading the newly revealed Yoru no Nai Kuni), Atelier series director Yoshito Okamura, and finally Ar Tonelico and Surge Concerto series director Akira Tsuchiya.

The three creators talk up the main goals of Gust studio, the future of their series, and a special message for their fans.

When Speaking on Future Releases

Keisuke Kikuchi: “Until recently, Gust has put out an Atelier game every year, and every couple years we put out a new Surge Concerto game. However, I want to make a lot of games outside of those series. Coming from this, we launched a new IP [Yoru no Nai Kuni]. With this game, I’m looking forward to constructive feedback from both Okamura and Tsuchiya.”

The 2015 Goal for Gust Studio

Yoshito Okamura: “We have a lot of news to reveal for our fans waiting on something new in the Atelier series.”

Akira Tsuchiya: “If we can produce interesting new IPs both on the outside and the inside, as well as collaborate with other developers, I think that will be nice.”

A Message for the Fans

Yoshito Okamura: “I apologize in keeping you waiting for a new Atelier. A new game is still coming, so please look forward to our reveal.”

Akira Tsuchiya: “I’m focusing on working towards looking ‘even crazier than before.'”

Would you guys like to see a new Atelier game. or would you rather Gust focus on new IPs like Yoru no Nai Kuni?
