Full Disclosure: I have financially backed Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night on Kickstarter.

The name “Bloodstained” has been officially trademarked in the U.S. and Europe by Deep Silver’s parent company Koch Media.

Igarashi’s new Igavania game has garnered $2.9 million dollars from it’s backers at the time of writing this, and the KickStarter is only now showing signs of slowing, though there are still 15 days left to back it. Currently, the backers are less than $70,000 away from the Wii U stretch goal, after which is a hidden goal at $3.25 million.
