Level-5 has somewhat revealed the current development of Professor Layton 7 during their Vision 2015 press conference today.

Layton 7 has undergone some changes since it was last revealed. The card game is now what the developers are calling a “table-talk reasoning game”. Up to seven players will be able to play, and must discover which of the people among them is a vampire pretending to be a human.

Both games will be coming to Japan’s smartphones and tablets this summer. There was some talk of Layton 7 being on the 3DS last year, but there was no mention of that platform during the livestream.
