Kanji Shows Off His Manly Dance Moves in P4D’s New Character Clip

Atlus has decided it’s time to show off Kanji’s dance moves, who is the next character to get their own trailer. Watch the video above, in which we get to see him break stuff, show off his alternative outfits, and dance with Persona 4 crush, Naoto Shirogane.

As do all of the other characters in this music/rhythm spin-off (bar one), Kanji Tatsumi first appeared in the fourth main entry of the Persona series. In that game, he was a first-year student notorious for delinquency, who was afraid he might be gay, and compensated for this fear with a macho facade. (Whether or not he turned out to be gay, straight, or something else is up to interpretation.) Because he helps his mother with her textile business, he is adept at sewing and knitting.

P4D sees Kanji a year older, and now a second-year student at Yasogami High School.

You can find the rest of the characters thus far revealed in the archives, and check out the game’s box art here.

Persona 4: Dancing All Night is coming to the West some time this year, after it launches on the Playstation Vita in Japan on June 25.
