Fairy Fencer F: Advent Dark Force is the upcoming enhanced PS4 release of Fairy Fencer F that was released on PS3 in 2013; in addition, this updated game will function almost as an expansion to the original. Half way through the original game’s “Goddess Chapter”, the new game’s story will branch off into new routes, dubbed the “Evil God” and “Devil” chapters.

And that’s far from all there is to offer here. Different routes will also bring in numerous new characters, depending on the route you choose. Marianna, an enemy from the first game, can even become an ally this time.

In addition to that, Advent Dark Force will also morph the battle system from a three-character team to a six-character team. And to balance the new, larger party on the field, enemies will also be scaled up in difficulty to match – however, difficulty settings will also be added, allowing players to set the game’s difficulty to their liking.

And, of course, Advent Dark Force will feature tons more special attacks, allies, etc.

While there isn’t any news on a western release yet, Advent Dark Force is due out in Japan sometime this year.
