This is some wonderful news – Nurijoy, a developer made up of former Pentavision developers (known for the DJMAX series), has revealed (via NeoGAF) a new rhythm game for Playstation Vita.
The new game, titled simply SUPERBEAT XONiC, is coming exclusively to the Playstation Vita, some time this summer in South Korea. Further details weren’t confirmed – but could this new PS Vita game feature gameplay similar to what is seen in Nurijoy’s other rhythm game, Beatcraft Cyclon? I would venture to say yes, as Nurijoy is still a new and presumably smaller independent studio.
Nurijoy have been working on their new arcade game, Beatcraft Cyclon, which is familiar and yet different from what fans can expect from DJMAX. You can get an idea of how Beatcraft Cyclon plays via Nurijoy, below:
Pretty awesome right? SUPERBEAT XONiC is being developed in an exclusive agreement between Sony Computer Entertainment Korea and Nurijoy, as indicated by the original report.
We’ll keep you guys posted.
