Kaku-San-Sei Million Arthur Leaving Japan, Coming to the Rest of the World

When Square Enix shuts down one service, it starts another: the company will be discontinuing Kaku-San-Sei Million Arthur on mobile devices in Japan on March 30 (although the Amazon app store version will remain operational), but has partnered with Gamevil to bring the King Arthur-inspired game to the rest of the world, finally. In addition to localizing it for other regions, Gamevil will also add new content to the mobile game.

Kaku-San-Sei birthed a popular and profitable franchise for Square Enix. It was originally released for Android and iOS mobile devices, got a Playstation Vita port that had a crossover with Senran Kagura, has been ported to the 3DS, and has even had its own live-action TV show. That’s not even mentioning the game’s spin-offs, Yui-Itsu-Sei Million Arthur and Kai-ri-Sei Million Arthur.

Gamevil plans on releasing the progenitor of it all, Kaku-San-Sei Million Arthur, on Android and iOS mobile devices in the first half of 2015.
