Falcom announced Tokyo Xanadu last December, but didn’t mention which platform it would be on. We now know (via Games Talk) that the game described as an “urban myth action RPG” will be on the Playstation Vita.
The two main characters have been fleshed out a bit, too. Kou Tokisaka (in the white jacket above) is a 17-year-old high school student, who’s blunt but not unfriendly; he’s good at mid-range attacks. Asuka Hiragi, his classmate (with the blonde hair), is a beautiful girl, an A-type student, and class president; she’s skilled at close combat.
Players take control of these characters and explore an alien realm next to ours, called “Xanadu”, fighting the creatures they find there with something called a Soul Device.
We’ll keep you updated.
