Koei Tecmo have released a trailer for the next installment in their Nobunaga’s Ambition series, called Nobunaga’s Ambition 201X. You can watch the video above.
201X will be a game in which monsters, onmyoudou, and historical figures co-exist. Koei Tecmo states that the game is a “battle formation RPG”, which seems to translate as “mobile puzzle shooter of sorts”.
Nobunaga’s Ambition201X will be available for mobile devices (Android 4.0or higher and iOS 5.1.1or higher) in Japan and through browsers via the Unity Web Player. It was intended to release this Winter, but seems to have been delayed. The game is now accepting pre-registration, however.
This will be the first title in the series since Nobunaga’s Ambition: Creation, which launched on the same day as the PS4 in Japan.
