In the light of dismal sales for the Xbox One in Japan, one would be forgiven for thinking that Mystereet F: Tantei-tachi no Curtain Call had been cancelled; ever since it was announced in May of last year as one of three titles exclusive to the Japanese Xbox One, news for the visual novel has been non-existent. That’s finally changed.
The official website for Tantei-tachi no Curtain Call recently opened, from which we got the above image, which features the first character art released for the game. The character designer for the project will be the illustrator and doujinshi artist Carnelian (click through for more of his work). Developers Divison 8 and their boss, Makoto Asada, the same people currently working on the remake of YU-NO: A Girl Who Chants Love at the Bound of this World, will be responsible for developing the project.
Mystereet F: Tantei-tachi no Curtain Call packages the original game in the series, Mystereet: Fukagyaku Sekai no Tantei Shinshi, with a completely new version of the sequel, which is being remade for the Xbox One.
