With the third game of the “Dusk” storyline, Atelier Shallie, hitting western shores this March 10th (for North Americans) and March 13th (for Europeans) it seems appropriate to mention today’s news concerning another Atelier title.

The 3DS remake of the original Atelier Rorona, the first game of the Arland trilogy, just had its box art revealed, and like the chibi-fied designs it contains within the game, the cover is the very epitome of adorable. It’s not known yet whether the game will come stateside, although, considering Gust never brought over their amazing Atelier-esque 3DS-exclusive RPG, Nora and the Time Studio (even though fans like me were begging for it), I’m not entirely convinced it will.

Hopefully if it does, we won’t see another removal of Rorona from the cover of the box like the first time she appeared in the United states.

The 3DS retelling of Rorona’s story, with double the cuteness of before, will release March 26th in Japan.
