We’ve learned (via Engadget) that Windows 10 users will be able to stream any Xbox One game from their console, to their Windows 10 PC or tablet.

The news was confirmed during Microsoft’s Windows 10 keynote today. To be clear, any Xbox One game is eligible to be streamed to your Windows 10 device, although Microsoft’s Phil Spencer showed off a demo with Forza Horizon 2 (featured above).

The live demo was performed on a Surface Pro 3 tablet, where Spencer even brought up the Xbox One user interface. The new feature is reportedly coming “later this year.”

With Xbox streaming coming to Windows 10, the new OS is also coming to Xbox One. Details are scant, but Microsoft is going to reveal more information at a later date. They did mention, however, that programs like Excel won’t function on Xbox, but apps developed for Windows 10 will be easily transferable to Xbox One.

Finally, cross-platform support between Xbox One and Windows 10 was confirmed. They announced a PC version of Fable Legends (which got revealed previously for Xbox One), with Spencer also demoing the game running between both platforms.
