As part of their marketing efforts for Final Fantasy Type-0 HD, Square Enix are publishing a lot of videos. The newest two explain the game’s combat, and compare the original and remastered versions of the title.
Combat
For those unfamiliar with Final Fantasy Type-0, Square Enix have provided a decent summary of the gameplay. The below video explains the party-based combat, unique abilities and magic, and eidolon summoning that are part of the game.
The second video compares the graphics of the original Type-0, which was on the PSP, and the remastered, current-generation one intended for home consoles. We’ve already gone over what to expect (for a more in-depth discussion of the differences, go here) but it’s nice to see the comparison in action. The music is a welcome bonus.
