    • XSEED is Possibly Localizing Forbidden Magna

    The XSEED localization teasing continues.

    We’ve learned (via NeoGAF) that XSEED Games is possibly localizing Marvelous’ 3DS RPG, Forbidden Magna. A domain was registered for “Lord of Magna,” on December 11th of last year.

    The game is a 3DS RPG that was developed by mostly former Neverland Co. developers. It launched in Japan last October, although no word has come of an English localization.

    We’ll keep you guys posted.

      Did the XSEED team grow bigger? They seem to be handling a lot of simultaneous localizations.

      They’re still a somewhat small localization studio. I think in terms of overall size, NISA is still a bigger studio. Idea Factory International is even smaller, especially considering they just opened recently.

      I think with XSEED, they tend to schedule things out for a year at a time and stick to that schedule, and they’re usually pretty spot on with getting their projects done. I wouldn’t be surprised if we got confirmation for a few if not all of these, pre-E3 or during E3.

      Who knows, maybe with everyone knowing about it now they’ll just say “ah, fuck it” and confirm it earlier.

      Not surprised were getting this one, after all it is a Marvelous title.

      The videos for this didn’t really look to hot. Though I’m sure i’d end up trying it, if it does come over.
