Liege is a crowdfunded strategy RPG that is supposed to be a reinterpretation of the 16-bit era of the genre. The game should have arrived at the start of last year but ran into troubles with its Unity port. Since then it’s also missed its Summer release. Now, it’s supposed to launch in 2015.
Developers Codagames are currently demoing it at PAX East, so if you’re there you may want to give it a go. A new trailer and gameplay video have also been released for the game, and a sample of the game’s score exists, all of which you can experience below.
According to Liege‘s official website, its story “is written for an adult audience. It’s a drama about conflicted, intertwined, and human characters, forced to wage war for their lives and their homeland.”
Liege should be out later this year for Windows, Linux, and Mac PCs, Playstation 4, Wii U, PS Vita, and Android and iOS mobile devices.
