Nintendo of Australia has confirmed today that Aussies (and New Zealanders) will get the hot new 3DS on November 21st, before any other country outside of Japan.

The New 3DS comes with an upgraded CPU, a secondary analog stick in the form of the upper-right C-Stick, two extra shoulder buttons, and various other improvements like the NFC compatibility, the “Super Stable 3D”, and the swappable faceplates.

Japanese fans will be able to get the upgraded handheld on October 11th. The available colors will be only in white for the regular New 3DS, while the New 3DS XL comes in metallic blue and metallic black.

A North American or European release for the New 3DS hasn’t been confirmed, but we’ll keep you guys posted.
