[UPDATE: Xblaze: Lost Memories is a Playstation Vita and Playstation 3 game.

It will feature a new heroine called “Nobody”, voiced by Nao Toyama, who has lost her memories. She is accompanied by Toya Kagari, the protagonist of the original game, although it’s unclear if he’s the protagonist. Brain Cat, the mascot doll emblazoned by Ripper in the original gale is returning in Lost Memories, although now it can speak! The voice for Brain Cat is done by Sayuri Yahagi.]

We’ve been covering Arc System Works’ visual novel spinoff, XBlaze Code: Embryo, which takes place within the same completely wacky universe as the BlazBlue fighting games.

It seems like Code Embryo did pretty well, because an early leak in this week’s Famitsu magazine has tipped us off to the game getting a sequel, XBlaze: Lost Memories.

We’ll keep you updated.
