Tekken series producer Katsuhiro Harada has confirmed that the somewhat forgotten Tekken X Street Fighter is still alive, at this year’s San Diego Comic Con.

News confirmed during a Q&A session, Harada said that the game is “still in development and moving forward,” however he said “it is proceeding, so please relax.”

The reason for the game’s longer development is due to the multitude of projects that are being developed internally at Bandai Namco, with Harada reaffirming that Tekken X Street Fighter needs its own spotlight.

Tekken X Street Fighter was originally revealed way back in 2010, and since then we haven’t really learned much about it, other than the fact that it’s yet another cross over fighter like Street Fighter X Tekken, and that it would play in 3D style, instead of Street Fighter X Tekken’s 2D style.
