It seems like that hot new Attack on Titan game for the Nintendo 3DS might be getting the localization treatment. A source close to the developer Spike Chunsoft has confirmed via Siliconera that the studio is looking for a publishing partner to bring the game westward.

The game was launched in Japan back in December of last year, and it sold over 93,000 copies in its initial week, and it even went on to rapidly sell out at most major retail stores across the country. Clearly, the game has massive appeal (much like the show and manga), and Spike Chunsoft had to produce and send out additional shipments of the game, yet they still never seemed to be avble to meet demand.

The numbers didn’t stop there either, as the game cumulatively sold over 240,000 copies in February at retail, and this doesn’t even include digital download numbers, as those are usually not disclosed by publishers.
