Nexon has finally given us a look at gameplay within their upcoming MMORPG, MapleStory 2. The game has been in development since 2010 and is considered a prequel to the original MapleStory.

Featured above, you can view footage captured directly from the game’s current Alpha build. Nexon wants to give us an idea of how the game will look and feel in full 3D, specifically the new environments, the boss fights, combat, and so on. The game will also come with some brand new features like swimming, driving, and even wall-climbing.

Nexon is going to hold a “Supporters Day” in late June, and those special few who are invited will get to see the game in person, and be able to discuss it with the developers. MapleStory 2 is set for a worldwide release, although it’s set for a closed beta sometime this year in South Korea.
