Obsidian Set To Reveal New Game At GDC

This year’s Game Developer’s conference won’t begin until March 17th, but you can add another log to the fire since the famed RPG developer apparently has a new game set to be unveiled.

Though details are, as always, very scarce, the one thing we do know is that it will be a next generation title that is said to be “Ground breaking” in its design. What this means is anyone’s guess, but considering they were trusted to make a Fallout spin-off by Bethesda and Chris Avellone is (literally) responsible for the Fallout bible, it isn’t much of a gamble to say this could be Fallout 4.

Of course, it could be anything from a next gen PS4 strategy game to an MMO. Obsidian is pretty fearless at the moment after their successful kickstarter campaigns and might want to branch out into new genres. Either way, seeing such a big RPG developer announce a “ground breaking” game is great news for RPG lovers.
