Super Isn’t Good Enough for Street Fighter Anymore

ultra ssf4

Semi-revealed yesterday, now Capcom has fully unveiled what they’re calling ULTRA STREET FIGHTER IV. Previously covered here on NG, what was once teased as “Super Arcade Edition 2012” is now ULTRA SSFIV. Honestly, I think the naming conventions in fighters these days are getting pretty damn silly.

Still, this is nowhere near on the level of Blazblue’s naming system, which seems to add as many physics sounding terms into their titles as possible like Chrono Phantasmal Skytract, or something along the lines of that. Anyway, the Ultra edition of SSFIV comes with five new characters, six new stages and some balance patches. It’ll cost 15$ as DLC or 40$ for the brand new retail version.
