Atlus have released a new story and gameplay trailer for Vanillaware’s upcoming narrative top-down tactical mecha game, 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim.

As we previously reported; the game follows 13 characters, each with their own perspective on events of 1980’s Japan, and an alien invasion. Alongside exploring and interact with NPCs, players fight off aliens with mecha in pausable real time strategy battles.

The new trailer shows time-travel shenanigans, attempting to prevent an terrible alien invasion in four years time. We also see a small part of the game’s tactical gameplay. Finally, the trailer confirms that preorders are available now.
