NBCUniversal has announced a live-action Frogger gameshow, with $100,000 USD in cash to be won.
Hosted by Damon Wayans Jr and Kyle Brandt, contestants will jump, slip, and slide around water-filled courses inspired by Konami’s 1981 arcade game. The show will premiere September 9th, exclusively on Peacock in North America; NBCUniversal’s streaming service.
Boasting that amid the plastic and PVC contestants will need “skill, strength, strategy, and problem-solving smarts;” winners will earn $100,000 USD and a golden fanny pack trophy. Would you step up to the challenge? Will you be watching? Will it be a better retro video game live-action adaptation than Pixels?
