1.4 Update for Stardew Valley Adds New Farm Map, Separate Banks for Multiplayer

Stardew Valley creator Eric Barone has shared new details for the game’s latest update.

Barone posted a new tease for the game’s coming 1.4 update over on Twitter this weekend, teasing the update is “a big one.” The update will add a new farm map – Four Corners – as well as separate bank accounts in the game’s multiplayer mode, a highly requested feature.

Featured above, a new screenshot was also revealed for the game’s new Four Corners map. “There’s one shared cave, shared community centre, mines etc,” Barone said. Players with existing multiplayer farms will have shared accounts, but you can talk with the mayor to make a switch to Four Corners.

A release date for the 1.4 update isn’t confirmed yet. In related news, Barone is already working on his next game.

Stardew Valley is currently available for PlayStation 4, PS Vita, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC, and mobile devices. In case you missed it, you can find my review for Stardew Valley here (I highly recommend it).
