Date A Live: Ren Dystopia to launch on Steam this September

Idea Factory has announced that the spinoff for Koushi Tachibana’s Date A Live, Date A Live: Ren Dystopia, will be released worldwide on Steam in September.

In addition, there would be a deluxe edition where along with the game, a short novel named Ren Masques, two audio dramas named Natsumi Encounter and Origami Friendship, the official soundtrack, and a 13 page picture and art book.

Visual Novel producer Compile Heart released the game in September 2020 for Playstation 4 after delays due to production issues from summer 2019.

The story is set years after the first Date a Live game, where the protagonist Shido must help a spirit named Natsumi from being targeted by the Deus Ex Machina Industry, and when he helped seal Natsumi’s powers away, Shido thought the ordeal is over, but suddenly a mysterious box with snake imagery appears, and in his curiosity, pulls him back to the fight against the Deus Ex Machina industry and rival spirits.

Date a Live: Ren Dystopia will be available on Steam in September.
