We’ve learned Falcom is hiring for new positions related to the Ys and The Legend of Heroes: Trails series.

The news comes via their recruitment page (via their own Twitter), where the developer notes they want to make even more new RPGs and develop a more pleasing kind of action or combat.

The company noted that they want to make new games in the aforementioned series, as well as new series too. They have their own motivations, but they’re looking for passionate new hires that feel like ‘Falcom wants to work hard on their games.’

If you’re a game developer and based in Japan, you can apply for the various roles here. The open positions include titles like graphic designer, programmer, game designer, project design, and even non-development work.

It’s worth mentioning Falcom recently confirmed the next game in The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel timeline would be the last in that storyline – leading us to believe the next game in the franchise has to follow a new story and new characters.
