  • Fear Me I Am Free

    inb4 typical SAO hate comment.

Yeah, this game is looking good. Still need to play through Hollow Realization.

  • Jack

For some reason this game kinda reminds me of Freedom Wars.

  • Justin Williams

Is this game like Phantasy Star Online (without the online part?)

  • DynastyStar

    It’s closer to .hack

  • EroBotan

    can we dual wield bazookas?

  • Z3DH

    Aincrad is better.

  • As long as it is not on Vita.

  • LibidinBoy

    Fully taking the bait…
What is the problem with vita again?

  • The PC version is giving me headaches. Controls are shit and it keeps on crashing.

  • Simple. The Vita hold back games from reaching their potential.

  • BFG

    Define “potential”

  • Oh you are still here. Disappointed that you could not get me banned. HA!
It’s common sense really. If the game was developed on for the Vita then that would have to be the base for the game. So everything would have to be downgraded just to run on the piece of shit. FPS would have to be capped at 30fps, the ingame resolution would have to be capped at 720p, the textures would look like a PS2 game, and worse of all the animations would look like puppetry. Thankfully this is being made with UE4 so no Vita to hold the game back!

  • BFG

So you pretty much failed to understand that handhelds were always about gameplay over graphics, and pushing devs to find creative ways and to experiment around the technical contraints?

  • Not really as Vita games are usual capped at 30fps. 30fps is unplayable. Only a retard would choose to game on a handheld over PC or console. But Vita is dead so nothing to worry about. :)

  • Fear Me I Am Free

    I have the PS4 version so I wouldn’t know.

  • BFG

So I guess DS and PSP games (and anything from the 5th and 6th gen) were also unplayable to you then.

Only a retard would choose to game on a handheld over PC or console

I’m almost curious what alternative you would recommend for someone often on the move and can only allow small items to be taken.

  • Yes all handheld games are unplayable garbage. Why do you think I don’t game on mobile devices or smartphones.

If you are too busy to play games then what you do is make time. There is nothing more pathetic then a guy who plays video games outside or in public areas. These guys are so socially inept that they must constantly have something to distract them from the real world.

Yes all handheld games are unplayable garbage.

    I
guess Layton, Ace Attorney, Advance Wars, Etrian Odyssey, Dungeon
Travelers, Taiko Tatsujin, Metal Max, Super Robot Wars, etc etc… were
    all “unplayable garbage” then.

    I
swear people who say stuff like this haven’t actually talked to people
themselves about what they think about people playing handhelds in
public or have done so themselves. Video games are more popular than
ever and if you actually talked to people about games you would know
that no one really has a problem with it. Nearly everyone is doing
something on their phone when waiting for something.

Are playing games something so shameful that you need to hide it?

  • Yep.

Why the hell would I care about what other people think about the losers that plays videogames in public. Only my opinion matters. The people that useally have a phone in their face arw doing important things like checking in on friends or family or something work related. They are not playing a Visual Novel in the park like some creep.

No but their is a time and place for everything. If you are out and about you should be making yourself useful. You should not be playing Mario Odyssey while at college or work.

  • LibidinBoy

Im so glad I took the bait.

  • Justin Williams

Never played .hack. I saw the releases over the years but never picked one up…. I’ll have to go back and check those out.

  • Justin Williams

Damn this dude’s dad must have raped his asshole with an unlubricated VITA and spoiled his childhood or something. Never seen someone take such a personal grudge against a piece of consumer electronics. I have a Vita- its cool. Got a handful of games I play- they are also pretty cool. Get over it dude. Hug it out or whatever you have to do… sheesh.

  • Justin Williams

I will occasionally play a handheld (I have them all- pick one) while waiting for the kids to get out of school, doctor, etc. I’m not autistic or particularity strange. I own my own home, have a successful career and good friends, drive a nice car, dress myself, etc. Not sure why this guy assumes anyone who is into handheld gaming is some kind of social misfit…. maybe we are just *busy*?

  • Can’t handle the truth eh?

  • LibidinBoy

    Last bait-take.
Naa son, I have pc and vita, love them both. True that, from Sony pov, vita is more dead than Asgard. From third party, and vita playerbase, vita is alive and well. Specially since I have A long conmute from work. Besides, with almost 7 years from release, there are more games coming out than I can buy or play

  • What third party? You mean the small number of VNs? Vita is dead. PC, PS4, and switch killed the little bugger. HA!

  • DynastyStar

I was referring to the concept from an anime perspective, characters stuck in a game and have to fight to get out

  • Justin Williams

    Ok…

  • Envy-Noson

    Why won’t you die!
    Who is buying these games?

  • DynastyStar

I’ve seen the SAO anime but never played the games
