Atlus has announced that worldwide shipments for Persona 5 have topped 1.5 million units.

This new milestone comes after the game’s western launch in North America and Europe on April 4th, this past Tuesday.

Atlus reported 550,000 units shipped in Japan alone back in October of last year shortly after its September release, so we don’t know the full breakdown of how western sales affected that number outside speculation.

Atlus also confirmed they’ll continue supporting and promoting the Persona series outside just video games, pointing to their Persona concert going down on August 2nd.

Persona 5 is now available for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3.
