Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth Hacker’s Memory Revealed for PS4, PS Vita

The latest V-Jump has revealed (via Jin115Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth Hacker’s Memory.

The new game is set for a release on PlayStation 4 and PS Vita sometime later this year in Japan. A follow-up set within the same world as the original Cyber Sleuth, the game features an entirely new story set on the “other side” of the universe.

As the name implies, you’ll be taking control of a hacker named Keisuke Amazawa (you can change this name) as he is thrust into the digital underworld after being named in a criminal case he’s completely unaware of. Here’s a look at the new protagonist:

Over 320 Digimon are set to appear in the game, and various mechanics and systems from the original game will return – with some featuring upgrades or enhancements.

It seems like the game is getting a western release as well, as Bandai Namco Europe already filed a trademark (via Gematsu) for the phrase “Hacker’s Memory” today, March 20th.

Finally, Bandai Namco is including the original Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth with Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth Hacker’s Memory, as a bonus.
