I was hoping for a 15$ upgrade – 2 characters plus a story mode isn’t too much new stuff. As usual Europe gets the short end of the stick. We’ll see if I’ll get it. I may wait for a sale (if one is possible with
    this business model).

  • NeoStrayCat

Nope…Europe will not get shafted, as seen here, lol. -> https://twitter.com/PQubeGames/status/842512788526383105

Besides just 2 new characters and a bunch of additions, its perfect for those that have or haven’t gotten to it yet. And since Rev 2 is coming physical for PS4, expect it to go on sale whenever it can.

  • Mr0303

This tweet says nothing on when the game will come out.

I wouldn’t call it perfect for 20$ – it’s hard to justify a purchase when I bought Revalator and DLC as well as the broken EU version of Xrd.

I was talking about the upgrade going down in price, not the physical release.

  • Matz

I bought my copy of Revelator at $20 so It’s no a big issue for me, what I want to know if Dizzy is also included in the digital update

  • NeoStrayCat

I know it doesn’t mention no date, that’s for the publisher there to announce it whenever they can.

And yes, I get your point across. Stuff happens…and yeah, while it would be nice for the upgrade to be lower in price, that’s what physical and digital sales are for, even if it’ll take a while for them to make it happen.

  • Mr0303

“while it would be nice for the upgrade to be lower in price, that’s what physical and digital sales are for” – how so? How does the physical/digital sales affect the upgrade price? Or are you suggesting that we should buy Rev 2 when its price goes below that of the digital upgrade?

  • NeoStrayCat

Not those kind of “sales” like how many copies shipped/sold, I meant like discounts and/or price drops, whenever that’ll happen.

  • Yeah, the upgrade is a bit hefty considering what I had to pay to get Revelator.

  • Ecolink

going to wait for pc release
and might skip this version and buy every 2nd from now on

  • VOCALOID2

    Mmmm bacon

  • Lavochkin

    Great to have Baiken back.

  • NeoStrayCat

Well, lets hope it does, I mean, the official English site mentions 25 characters for Rev 2 -> http://guiltygear.us/rev2/, so I suppose the Digital DLC upgrade will justify that. I know the PS4 physical release will.

  • NeoStrayCat

Hmm…but you never know, how about a 3rd…or a 4th and so on?

  • Ecolink

i meant that every 2nd iteration like if i had adopted that idea early id have only bought revelator rather than both sign and revelator. now i wait till the one after rev 2

  • NeoStrayCat

    Oh, that’s what you meant.
