We’ve learned that Microsoft could still add mouse and keyboard support to Xbox One.

The news comes via Xbox boss Phil Spencer, who responded to a fan asking if Xbox One would get any PC peripheral support, specifically for mouse and keyboard, because of the upcoming launch for Halo Wars 2.

Spencer responded saying that “It won’t be there at launch but this is support we’d like to add as it comes to the Xbox platform.”

It’s worth pointing out that Spencer didn’t specify Xbox One, rather the Xbox brand as a whole. Still, it’s nice to see the company not ruling out a way to further bridge Windows 10 and Xbox as sibling platforms.

Halo Wars 2 is launching for Xbox One and PC on February 21st.
