New Action-Adventure Game “The Plague” Announced for Consoles and PC

Focus Home Interactive and independent French developer Asobo Studio have announced The Plague.

Described as a new action-adventure experience, the new title is currently in development for both home consoles and PC.

Asobo (co-developed ReCore, alongside a slew of movie-licensed games) is wrapping up pre-production on the game, and is set to fully unveil it during What’s Next de Focus in Paris between February 1st and 2nd.

“Collaborating with Focus Home Interactive on a new, original creation of our team is a major step in the development of our studio. For this ambitious project, we needed the full support of a strong and growing publisher,” said Sebastian Wloch, CEO of Asobo.

The Focus team, through their professionalism, enthusiasm and openness, have naturally established themselves as the ideal partners to bring the experience we wish to offer to players.”

Action adventure is pretty vague nowadays. Maybe without Inafune in charge they can produce a good game.

As long as they don’t involve Inafune then it should be good. I’ll keep my eyes out for this game.
