• Original Shenmue Director Returns for Shenmue III

    The director of the original Shenmue, Keiji Okayasu, is returning to work on Shenemue III.

    He will be a part of developer Ys Net as a sub-director, news confirmed over on the game’s Kickstarter blog. Okayasu was also a big part of the production of Shenmue II.

    Featured above, a new video was revealed with Okayasu talking up what he’s looking to do in the final chapter of Ryo’s story.

    Shenmue III is currently in development for PlayStation 4 and PC.
