[UPDATE]
It turns out this was an inaccurate posting, as the Xbox employee copied old pre-order information. We apologize for the confusion.
[ORIGINAL STORY]
Comcept’s Mighty No. 9 has been delayed a few times, the most recent of which pushing the game to a generic spring 2016 release window. We’re rapidly approaching the end of spring, and we still haven’t seen a peep from the game’s developer or publisher, Deep Silver.
Now, a new update to the game’s Xbox Live Store listing (via ICXM) suggests the Kickstarter-funded action platformer will be delayed again – to December of this year. “Xbox One game expected to release on December 2nd, 2016,” the new listing says.
Whenever the game does launch, it will release across PC, Mac, Linux, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and Wii U – the handheld versions will come sometime later.
Consider this a rumor for now, as we haven’t gotten official clarification from Comcept or Deep Silver. We’ll update this post as new information arises.
